Alexandrapol, the last city on the border with Turkey, was one of the first to take on the name of Lenin in 1924. On October 22, 1926, the first earthquake occurred in the city; and it seemed to many that this had a different meaning. In the same year, the first cinema was opened in the city. It was called "October", the month of the Great October Revolution. On December 7, 1988, there was a second earthquake and two years later the Soviet Union was gone. The last city took everything with it, leaving only the people and the symbols of the era. And only the cinema withstood two earthquakes.
